How best to communicate?

When we started Medacy is 2003, communication was really simple. You picked up the phone and called someone or popped round. When we started we spent a small fortune on a SMS based system where locums would be notified of sessions in their area of work but people didn’t use it – SMS hadn’t fully taken off then!!

Now it’s so tricky. Phone, mobile , txt, email, messenger, twitter, Google+, Facebook page, Telegram, signal, website, app, bot, fax,(!) we even like to meet people sometimes! My 19 year old son never reads his email “Too slow, Dad!” – We have to go with the flow.

So at Medacy we are launching a new website today through which we hope to develop communication with our healthcare professionals and clients.

You can contact us via the website, their are links to to our Google+, Facebook page (www.facebook.com/medacy) our twitter feed @themedacyway, our email address is there and our freephone number, Intercom has been activated for in page chats and you can add comments to blog posts and job adverts. There’s even a link to Tempbuddy, the app we are about to role out to our locums.

So, we may have been around for a while but some things don’t change. Effective communication is key to building long term relationships, it’s just the number of ways we communicate that changes!!

PS We can also receive faxes 0845 862 8652
