Medacy Remote – GP practice Support during Pandemic.
Medacy Remote is designed to support GP practices remotely. Never before has this been more important with many practice directly effected by Covid-19 and those that aren’t, busy making contingency plans. Now is the time to act.
A GP I work with used the analogy of a Tsunami wave to describe how Primary Care feels at the moment. We’re all standing at the shore watching the wave pull back from the shore just waiting for the expected. Lets hope the wave doesn’t come crashing down and that the steps taken to mitigate the effects work
We need to free GPs and ANPs to do the work only they can do. Clinical Pharmacists can have a massive impact in practice, completing all the medicines related admin tasks thus freeing up valuable clinician time. Medacy have experience working with individual practices, Primary Care Networks, GP Federations and CCGs and would be happy to put together a support package to support any Primary Care Organisation.

The Medacy Remote Service have the ability to access both EMIS and SystmOne practices remotely using experienced practice pharmacists. The pharmacists can:
- Set up or enhance Electronic Repeat Dispensing (eRD)
- Issue acute requests for medication
- Process Clinical Letters
- Actions tasks or Patient Notes
- Answer patient queries.
